How to Enjoy

Fill the blender with one bottle of your favorite WineShop At Home dry red wine, one packet of Red Wine Sangria Slushie Mix and ice. Blend until smooth.

For an alternative method, combine all ingredients in a container, freeze for four hours, thaw and stir well.

You can also serve our slushie on the rocks.

For an extra kick, add your favorite liqueur such as brandy or cognac.

For a fruity twist, add some fruit to the blend. Perhaps strawberries and blackberries. Maybe even a few apples. I think I will blend in the berries and chop up the apples.

One package makes seven 8 oz. servings.

What Wines Would Go Well with the Slushie Mix?

I’m tempted to try a bunch. I’ll start with a sweeter slushie using Royal Mama or Bodacious. I’ll try a lighter slushie with Grenache. Then, I’ll have a drier slushie with Merlot or Petite Sirah. Hey, I might even try an over-the-top sweet slushie with our Fleur Bleu Black Muscat.
