You have an hour to wait for your flight. Boy, could you use a glass of wine. What should you do? If you’re lucky enough to be at one of the 34 airports that has a Vino Volo, you go to Vino Volo. I was just at the Portland (PDX) Vino Volo, and I loved it. So, I wanted to share my experience with you.

Vino Volo
About the Company
On their website, you’ll find the following:
What Makes Vino Volo So Great?
Well, I think you can see from what’s on their website why they’re so wonderful. Just a few more words. They truly have a great list of wines and a great list of flights. They also have yummy wine-friendly food that can accommodate challenging food needs.
When they deliver each wine to you, it comes with a round card that has all the tasting notes on it.
Plus, at the Portland store, the person working there, Randall, was very knowledgeable, which I really appreciated.
What I Tasted
I love to try wines I’ve never had before, so I chose their “Daring & Different” flight, which included a wine from Spain, a wine from Italy and a wine from France.

The flight I tried at Vino Volo
My favorite was the Angelo Negro Brachetto from Italy. I definitely picked up on the raspberry and clove notes that they highlighted in their tasting notes.
I had the wine with a delicious cheese plate that featured gluten-free bread. Yum.
I was delighted. If you have the chance to visit a Vino Volo, you won’t be disappointed.
