Every holiday season, WineShop At Home releases its Joy Cellars wines: two reds and three whites. These wines always taste delicious, and they are perfect for the holidays. They make festive additions to your holiday table, and they make wonderful gifts.

Joy Cellars Jubilant
This 2020 vintage proves how great the harvest was. We used three red varietals – Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Zinfandel – in this blend to showcase the terroir of the sustainable vineyards we source from in Lodi, California. This wine displays a warm and intense attack of blackberry, black currant and cherry. Then tobacco, pepper, cigar box and toasted oak notes finish the structured nose. The mouth is tannic.
High-polyphenol-content wines like this age gracefully. The structure does not overpower the mouthfeel and makes this wine generous and enjoyable.

Joy Cellars Bliss
Our Joy Cellars Bliss has wonderful roundness in the mouthfeel with some residual sugar. This wine is inviting and easy to pair with food. In the nose, it starts with notes of blackberry, blueberry and plum, followed by light oak toast, dark chocolate and truffle. Some of these characters also exhibit in the mouth. The most dominant feature in the mouthfeel is tannins. Layers and layers of tannins coat the mouth and are met by a sweet sensation, providing a harmonious blend.
Joy Cellars County Semillon
Semillon (pronounced sem-ee-yon) is not often produced on its own. Originally from Bordeaux, this varietal, whether dry or sweet, is often blended with Sauvignon Blanc or Muscadelle. Monterey offers ideal conditions for white grapes to thrive due to the cool influence from the Pacific Ocean. Behind a straw-like color, the nose reveals aromas of pear, lime and lemon, followed by more tropical tones, like papaya or guava. The mouth displays some minerality and clean lines.
This dry white wine is straight as an arrow with a crisp mid-palate and a medium intensity in the finish.

Joy Cellars Euphoria
Our Joy Cellars Euphoria is a blend of Riesling, French Colombard, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio. This wine displays floral fragrances of orange blossom, hyacinth and daffodil. The floral notes dissipate slowly, allowing for intense fruit like peach, mandarin, orange and lime to come forward. The attack is bright and crisp. Like most Riesling from Monterey, there is pronounced minerality that expands in the mouthfeel. This off-dry-to-sweet blend is round, low in alcohol and generous in the mouth.
Price: $25
Joy Cellars Merriment
This new Joy Cellars Merriment is a classic Californian dry white blend composed of French Colombard, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Riesling. This wine begins with floral notes of honeysuckle and orange blossom followed by fruity notes of lemon, grapefruit, apple and pear. This wine is aromatic with minerality and crispness. A white wine can sometimes be described as tight because of the presence of minerality and acidity.
This everyday wine has short-to-medium intensity and is very pleasant on the palate. Its clean lines reveal citrus characters in the mid-palate and finishes with a hint of lemon curd.
