Can your wine glass impact your enjoyment of wine? Yes! Please check out this Experimenting with Wine Glasses video in which David and I taste the same Merlot out of four glasses.
I invite you to do what we did in the video. Pour a single wine into several different glasses and see if you experience the wine differently from glass to glass. How does the wine smell? How does it taste? What is the finish like? Is the taste round and layered? Do you experience any bitterness?
This is a really fun exercise to do at least several times. With some wines, you might not notice much difference from one glass to the next. With other wines, you might notice a huge difference.
