A big thank you to my friend and wonderful personal chef and private caterer Suzy Brown of the Brown bag for her delicious birthday wishes this week:
“Happy Birthday! Start your day off with a little bubbly and a poached egg with sautéed spinach and a beurre blanc sauce. Then move to mid morning snack of fresh sliced apples, pears, and a bit of semi-soft cheese and a nice Rose. Follow that by a nice lunch of grilled portobello mushroom buckwheat risotto and a glass of Pinot. This afternoon treat yourself to a yummy chocolaty cupcake with a deep glass of Port. Dinner, well you get the idea… Whatever you do today, make sure you do it with your family, friends and loved ones. Laugh a lot, work a little , know you are loved! Have a great day and indulge!”
I can’t wait to follow Suzy’s recipe for a WINEderful birthday next year. I wish I could do it this year, but I already had plans.
Suzy’s delicious wishes prompted me to think about the fact that many of us set a new year’s resolution to eat healthier. If this is a new year’s resolution for you, please consider hiring Suzy or another personal chef to get you kick started on a healthier-eating path. Suzy is a master at what she does, and she is also a nutrition expert. So she can not only help by making yummy, healthy meals for you but also by teaching you some healthful tips and providing nutritional consulting.
Please check out her website at http://thebrownbag-personalchef.com/ and give her a call if you’d like her to help you get kick started with your new year’s resolution.
Cheers to a great 2013!
