For those of you who have read my posts over the years, you know that I’m a big fan of personalized wines, especially for the holidays. I can’t think of a better gift for wine lovers: a great bottle of wine with a fabulous picture of you, your kids or something else that you love. I’m excited today to tell you that we now have a second option for personalized wine. Read all about it here.
Traditional Personalized Wine
As I wrote a few weeks ago in Four Reasons to Give Personalized Wine Gifts, you can go to town creating a label that is all about you. It includes your favorite photo, a personalized message from you, and even your favorite colors and fonts. That’s awesome. Our personalized wines can be bought by the case, the half case or the gift box.
The only downside of our traditional personalized wine is that it’s quite expensive. Why? Because WineShop At Home, the Napa winery I work for, hand presses each personalized wine label, meaning there’s a lot of care and feeding that goes into each and every bottle. The most affordable way to buy personalized wine is by the case (12 bottles), since the price for each bottle is less expensive. Nevertheless, you end up paying anywhere from $30 to $40 per bottle for our personalized wines. Definitely worthwhile, but perhaps not affordable for people really watching their money.
Our New Second Option for Personalized Wine
For the first time, WineShop At Home is offering a second option for personalized wine. With this second option, we’re offering a beautiful holiday label that isn’t individually hand pressed, so doesn’t require a huge price tag. Also, these bottles can be bought one at a time without any pricing penalty.
Just like with our traditional personalized wine, we offer our second option personalized wine in four flavors: Sparkling ($31), Merlot ($29), Chardonnay ($27) and Cabernet ($30). These wines taste great and are beautiful. If our traditional personalized wine is too expensive for you this year, please consider these wines as a great alternative.

Traditional personalized wines are fantastic. They are a little expensive, because each label is put on by hand.
