After having the same website for the last 14 years, I’m delighted to introduce you to my new website. Same url – bettyswinemusings.com – but a modern look and feel.
Why Did I Get a New Website?
As somebody who works in digital marketing, I know how important it is for your website to have a fresh look. I also understand that having a new look tells people and web crawlers that you’ve got new things going on. Truth be told, there were some technical issues with my old site that were prompting me to make this change.
Who Did I Work With?
I was delighted to get to work with my old friend Massimo Paolini, whose company Spectrum Group Online does amazing work on websites. While he didn’t create my first website, he managed it for me. He was the person who really pushed me to get a new website, and I have to say that I am thrilled. Working with Massimo and his team was a dream for me. They were responsive, knowledgable and truly on top of everything. They completed the site in under a month. Wow! And by the way, the piece of their business that Massimo used to create my new site is a new piece of their business called Cafe. Cafe will be a godsend to small businesses.
What You'll Find in My New Website
My new website has the same sections as before:
- Wine Business – for people interested in becoming wine consultants
- Personalized Wine Labels – great for gifting
- Virtual Wine Tastings – for people not ready to be in crowds
- Wine Tastings – for the rest of us
- Blog – a weekly post from me
- About Me – for those of you who don’t know much about me
- Contact – if you want to get in touch with me
But each page is laid out more cleanly and has a fun, new image. Also, the blog section can now be much more easily searched. And from a layout standpoint, I can use bullets more easily, and even tables. Woo hoo. I’m excited about that.
